Striker has Cottagers medical

West Ham striker Bobby Zamora is reported to be having a medical at Fulham ahead of a £6.5 million move to Craven Cottage.

The striker and his Hammers team-mate John Pantsil have been given permission to speak to Roy Hodgson's side about a move across the capital having been deemed surplus to requirements at Upton Park.

It is now believed that Zamora, 27, has agreed personal terms with The Cottagers and is undergoing a medical in West London.

Fulham will become the striker's third London club after he kicked off his time in the capital with a £1.5 million move from Brighton to Tottenham in 2003.

He failed to score in 16 Premier League games with Spurs though and joined West Ham in February 2004 in a swap deal for Jermain Defoe.

Zamora is now poised to join Fulham after scoring only once last season in a 2-1 win over Derby in April.
